Osmosis Defi: Atom or Osmo?

If you know Luna token, I guess you won't feel strange to the Osmosis Defi as well, as an emerging Defi ecosystem, Osmosis has becoming more and more popular in the past 6 months, we can see the Luna Token and also Atom, Osmosis have been rally a lot in these months, especially Luna Token hit ATH 2 weeks ago.

Personally not sure if people in the westerns community got interested in Osmosis Defi or not, at least the people in Chinese community are really into it, many people is trying to stake their ATOM, OSMO and Juno Token waiting for many waves of Air Drops.

At the moment the APY of staking Atom is about 16% and the APY of staking Osmo is 60%+, therefore I know many people in the Chinese community prefer to stake more Osmo in their wallet instead of staking the Atom, as Osmo gives higher interest rate to them.

I am not a person who really into the Air Drops, I should say, I am not good on fishing the Air Drops, so I better focus on what I am good at - buy at lower and sell at higher.

A question pop up to my mind: should I buy more Atom or Osmo Token under this circumstance? I am not going to stake so many token in the wallet as my main purpose is not aiming for their interest, it's going to take 21 days to un-delegate, so I will probably missing the suddenly uptrend.

I did stake some Atom on Osmosis because I want to know how does it works, I need to familiar with the whole procedure for staking / unstake, get to know how much the gas fee on each transaction, etc. So it's necessary for me to test by do the stake on Osmosis.

Assuming the people whom stake their Osmo in the wallet is mainly aiming for the higher interest, they are not going to unstake and sell the Osmo easily, can I recognize that people have no interested to buy Osmo on the market and they will prefer to buy Atom token as the interest rate of staking Atom is much lower?

Probably I need to build up more and more Atom in my portfolio and waiting for another wave of surge on Atom on premise my assumption is correct😅So, what do you think guys? Will you pick Atom or Osmo if you were me?
