Don’t judge a book by its cover - my experience on CRO Defi wallet

Hi guys, if you let memory is good enough you should remember that I wrote about my experience on crypto.com wallet for Hong Kong users, as the users in Hong Kong is not eligible to use their earn services in crypto.com wallet, therefore I simply buy and sell in the wallet when there’s chance.

Recently I figure out that they do have Defi wallet, we can store our coins in the Defi wallet, it’s important for us to have a key of our wallet, not your key, not your money, then I tried to get their Defi wallet to see what’s the difference between Crypto.com wallet and their Defi wallet.

Wow, I spotted that they have earn function on their Defi wallet, and the APR of CRO token is about 12.5% P.A, I immediately switch my CRO from my Crypto.com wallet to the Defi wallet (I paid 0.2 CRO as miner fees and need to swap to crypto.com chain then pay another 0.15 CRO as miner fees again)

I though finally I can enjoy the higher internet rate in crypto.com wallet / their Defi wallet, obviously I am over expected on this issue.

It turned into bad face when I am ready to press the stake button as I saw the system message said that it is going to take 28 days to unstake ! Well, I guess I can make more profit on buy at low and sell at high in the coming 28 days as the market momentum is quite good lately…

I am going to send my CRO token back to my crypto.com wallet and wait for a good price to sell now, well, I earned nothing but spent 0.35 CRO for a lesson, of course I don’t mind paying to learn, I keep learning new things everyday from the others.

It’s also a good lesson to remind me that never judge a book by its cover!
