Working in the factory in Shenzhen was the best time in my life

I am wondering if my life will be much happier if I was born in Shenzhen instead of Hong Kong, Hong Kong is just too stressful, people always walk too quick on the street, and you are required to get this this this and that that that done in very short time, it's really suffocated.

But the lifestyle in Shenzhen is way different, although you are required to get many things done in short time, people is not as rush as the people in Hong Kong do after they are off for work there, most importantly, Shenzhen got a bigger place for people where you are more comfortable to stay there when compared to Hong Kong.

I had chance to work in the factory in Shenzhen back in 2015- 2017, this is the best time in my life ever, my wife and my mom also missing the time there as they will come visit me and stay in my dormitory, I took them to have a nice street side stalls foods, going to have a food massage sometimes, life was super super relax backward.

Unfortunately the factory couldn't make it while there was a Briexit issue that gave a massive hit on the business in Europe market, the major customers of the factory all in Europe...I left the factory at the beginning of 2017 due to some personal issue, but I still missing the people there very much.

I got a chance to go factory to see them in May 2018 while I was waiting for a new job offer, then I decided to go there to see my old workmate, the factory scale was much smaller after I left, the had 2 building when I was there and they already rent out one whole building to the other, and the rest building they also rent out 2/3 to the other, only keeping 1/3 in the rest building when I back there.

The above pictures was the office I used to stay, the vibes became "we're all dead" when I arrived, only one or two people still in the office, so sad to see such changes...

My old workmates were happy to seeing I go to visit them, the girl above even bough me the Chinese fried cake with chicken on top which was my favorite breakfast on the street stall in the past.

The workshop was nearly empty, most of the die-casting machines were sold, we knew that they were preparing to shut the factory down before I leave, but still sad and unacceptable when it comes true.

I nearly spent whole day in the factory with my old workmates there and I just think time flying too fast, I still wanted to talk to them more but everyone were nearly off for work, so I forced to back my home either, I told them I will visit them again, unfortunately the factory finally shut down in Dec 2018, it was my last visit in the factory and everyone left Shenzhen, someone went their hometown, the rest still in Canton province but they no longer in Shenzhen.
