Miss her so bad when I look at our old pictures !

Our company will be closed for Chinese New Year Holiday from this Friday and resume work in 7 Feb, I will have 10 days holiday but I can go nowhere, so I started to organize the old pictures in my old laptop, how sentimental I am when I look at the old pictures of my wife.

It was our 3rd anniversaries dinner in French Windows at IFC (Central) back in 2018, there was no pandemic backward, both we can travel HK and Shenzhen without any isolation, how great the time was.

I still remember my wife was waiting me off for work at the MRT station at Central, and I was super worry about her as she turns into “road imbeciles” in Hong Kong, fortunately she didn’t get lost otherwise our dinner need to cancel, I will go police station instead.

My wife is a type of person who doesn’t really care where I take her for the dinner, it doesn’t have to be luxury and elegant, she is ok to eat on the street stalls for the delicious foods, but for me, I want to take her to somewhere special for our anniversary’s dinner for sure, so I decided to take her to the high rated bar-restaurant at IFC to celebrate our 3rd anniversaries.

Don’t laugh at her when you know that she has trouble with the English menu, so am I, but I can still order the things I wanted as long as my wife doesn’t ask me to translate every single word on the menu to her.

We didn’t order too much as we already picked one seafood combo plate, the waiter suggested we order one more main dish plus a soup and dessert is enough as the seafood combo is very large, we can’t take too much main dish after we finished the seafood combo.

It’s always better to listen to the staff advise, it’s not about money, it’s about not wasting the foods, we nearly in 80% full after we completed the seafood and the pork. It’s time to get our dessert.

I told the staff that it was our 3rd anniversaries dinner and asked him to do me a favor to write Happy 3rd anniversaries on the plate of the dessert to give her little surprise. Ended up my wife goes very surprised for sure, and she asked when did I ask them to do so? Why I always do such thing secretly, and I said “NOPE, I did that in front of you 15 minutes ago, but you just didn’t realized what did I say to the staff in English” and she went “Diu La Sing”, haha what a funny scene right there.

Before we start for the dessert, of course we need to capture the moment, sweet, I mean our pictures, not the dessert. This is how I celebrated our 3rd anniversaries with my wife.

And I started missing her very bad again when I look at such pictures, there’s no schedule for me to go Shenzhen shortly for sure as the pandemic is getting worse and worse and Hong Kong, it’s really struggle for me to think about resign from my current job.

What should I do? I have no clue!!!
