Zodiac gold coin (Year of horse 2014) - my only asset in gold

When talking about precious metal, guess you will immediately figure out the gold and silver, the most common investment tooling in the financial markets. I guess many people has interested to invest on the spot gold / silver, or directly buy the gold bar or gold nugget to invest, right?

It's not a bad idea to invest on the previous metal like spot gold, gold bar, etc. But personally don't really buy too many gold to invest, it's hard to me to store the physical gold bar, and it's risky for me to do the spot gold trading.

And I had been thinking quite hard, trying to recall my memory to see if I have any gold collection? Oh yeah, finally I figure one.

It had been many years ago, when I went for a company Christmas party back in 2013, I won the 1st prize on the lucky draw which is the Zodiac gold coin (Year of horse 2014), to be honest, I don't really have interested to keep such gold coin, I simply gave it to my mom and told her she can sell it for cash anytime.

I nearly forgot I even had this gold coin these years until we talked about the gold last night, then I asked my mom if she remember I got a zodiac gold coin many years ago, she told me sure, and she keep it very well for me. wow, I am so happy my mom treasure the little gift I gave her, and the coin still in really good condition.

Can you guess how much was it when they bought back in Dec 2013? There's 4 years to another Year of the Horse in Chinese calendar, I think I can show this Zodiac gold in the display at my home again then I can save up money to buy another gold decoration (wondering how much the coin will be in the next 4 years)
