Each person will be resurrected in their own order.

I. On which day of the week was Jesus crucified?

Jesus was crucified on Wednesday, the 15th day of the first month. He was crucified around 9:00 in the morning and died around 3:00 in the afternoon.

     1. On the 14th day of the first month, which was the Passover, the lamb was slaughtered around 3:00 in the afternoon.

     2. After sunset, it became the 15th day, which was the evening of the Last Supper. Jesus was betrayed by Judas and forcibly taken away.

     3. He was examined by the high priest Caiaphas overnight. At dawn, the elders, along with the chief priests and scribes, brought him to Pilate and demanded that he be sentenced to death. After the trial, he was crucified at 9:00 in the morning and died around 3:00 in the afternoon.

II. Jesus was in the tomb for three days and three nights, and He resurrected on the third day, which was Sunday (the first day of the week).

"Jesus answered, 'A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.'" (Matthew 12:39-40, NIV)

   1. After the sun set on the day of the crucifixion, it entered the 16th day, counting three days and three nights (16th, 17th, and 18th) in the heart of the earth. After the sun set on the 18th day, which was the first day of the week, Jesus resurrected early in the morning. This day was also the day of the Feast of Firstfruits (commonly known as Easter).

   2. Mary Magdalene went to the tomb to look for Jesus. Jesus said to her, "Mary!" and she turned toward Him. Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" (John 20:17, NIV)

   3. Soon after, Jesus met them again (Mary Magdalene and the other Mary), and he said, "Greetings!" They came to Him, clasped His feet, and worshiped Him (Matthew 28:9, NIV). I believe that the reason why the women were able to embrace Jesus is that Jesus had already ascended to heaven to present the firstfruits and obtained the glory from the Father before the world (John 17:5, NIV).

III. The Feast of Firstfruits

"Jesus replied, 'The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.'" (John 12:23-24, NIV)

After Jesus resurrected, some saints also resurrected! They were the second group to be resurrected after Jesus.

The Scriptures say, "At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split, and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus' resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people." (Matthew 27:51-53, NIV)

IV. Each person will be resurrected in their own order.

"But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him." (1 Corinthians 15:23, NIV)

   1. Christ is the firstfruits and the first to be resurrected from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:23, Revelation 1:5, NIV).

   2. After Jesus resurrected, some saints also resurrected! They were the second group to be resurrected, and it is possible that Jesus directly took them to heaven (Matthew 27:51-53, NIV).

   3. Before the great tribulation, those who die in Christ will be resurrected (this is the third group to be resurrected from the dead). They, together with the victorious believers who are alive, will be transformed and raptured in the air to meet the Lord, and they will be with Him forever (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, NIV).

4. Each person is resurrected in their own order.

"But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:23)

1. Christ is the firstfruits, the first to be resurrected from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:23, Revelation 1:5).

2. After the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, some saints also rose from the dead. This is the second resurrection, and the Lord may have taken them directly to heaven (Matthew 27:51/53).

3. Before the great tribulation, those who died in Christ will be resurrected from the dead (this is the third group of people to be resurrected from the dead). They, along with the victorious ones among us who are still alive, will have their bodies transformed, raptured in the air to meet the Lord in the clouds, and be with Him forever (1 Thessalonians 4:13/18).

4. The martyrs of the great tribulation, they will not be raptured, but belong to the first resurrection during the millennium; after their resurrection, they will reign with Christ for a thousand years in the millennial kingdom. These people are also blessed and are the victorious ones of the fourth resurrection (Revelation 20:4/6).

A female pastor and tour guide from Israel asked God, "Why do we always take Chinese people to the Holocaust Memorial when they come to Israel? Are the Jewish people going to suffer again in the future and need our help?" God said, "No, you tell these Christians that what happened to the Jewish people will happen to them in the future, so they need to be prepared! Eventually, it will happen to all humanity; because of Abraham's blessing, not only to his descendants but also to all mankind, all nations will be blessed together."

"I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection." (Revelation 20:4/5) In the great tribulation, Satan will compel people to worship the beast and receive the mark of the beast. These marks may be demonic or controlled by AI, in order to control the people of the earth. Once a person compromises with the devil, they are selling their own soul and will suffer eternal torment in the lake of fire.

Many people misunderstand the phrase "the first resurrection" in this passage, thinking that these people will be "raptured." This has led to the erroneous theological theory of the "post-tribulation rapture" and has caused much confusion among the children of God. Here, it refers to their resurrection during the millennium, reigning with Christ for a thousand years. But these people are not raptured, as the catching up only occurs before the tribulation, and the martyrs of the tribulation after the disaster no longer have the opportunity to be raptured.
