在前8輪英超拿到1分的錫菲聯也追平了英超聯賽歷史的最差紀錄，之前1995-1996賽季的曼城、1998-1999賽季的修咸頓、1990-2000賽季的錫周三和2013-2014賽季的新特蘭曾在前8輪比賽結束後只拿到1分。
