City

A walnut

With four animals’ moon carved into it.

A street artist’s playing quietly

The far wind and sunset

Like a needle, piercing the fog.

A cat is rolling over, through the window

Looking at himself, holding a rose.

Walnuts in hand, walking towards the end of the street,

Searching the sculpture in the centre of the plaza.

The world is full of leaves’ restaurant,

Carrying their own juices,

And spill them pointlessly on the ground.

The cat’s eyes are suddenly watching me,

Watching me open a walnut. It doesn’t hurt.

In the sprawling city,

Sinlessness leads to the moon – the dead and resurrected moon.

Sand spread out, piled up into buildings and lights

Forming a way,

On which very few people have walked.
