What Is CCIE Security Exam

Cisco CCIE can be divided into various certification levels and directions with different contents, including routing and switching, voice, storage network, security, telecom operators, etc. CCIE Security is one of the hottest Cisco certification directions. By learning CCIE SEC, you can have professional skills in deploying, maintaining and supporting solutions of Cisco network security. To obtain the CCIE security certificate, you need to pass the theoretical written exam and Lab experimental exam.

Now, the CCIE security certification exam has been updated to v6.0. The written exam in CCIE security direction is CCIE Security Written v5.0 with the exam code CCNP 350-701. The exam lasts for two hours and costs 450 US dollars. The total score is 1000 points. The passing score is 825 points, and the validity period of the certificate is 18 months. In the theoretical written exam, it is required that candidates understand the need for network security, how to operate different security components, and how to translate this into device configuration language.

After you have passed the CCIE security theory exam, the next step is to take the experimental exam. Candidates need to make an appointment for the experimental exam within the validity period of the written exam results. The version of the experimental exam is CCIE Security Lab V6.0. The exam takes 8 hours and the certificate of the experimental exam is valid for two years. And the registration fee varies according to different exam sites. In Hong Kong it costs 1600 US dollars. In Beijing it costs 1660 US dollars. And in the mobile exam site, it costs 1900 US dollars.

The CCIE Security lab exam is divided into three modules.

1. TS（Troubleshooting）At present, there are 5 sets of TS.

2. DIAG（Diagnose）At present, there are 5 sets of DIAG.

3. CFG（Configuration） The ability to build the network in the exam. Candidates are given the requirements and topology in the exam and need to complete the network construction according to the requirements. At present, there is one set of CFG.

The CCIE Security Lab exam is very difficult. You need to make your score of each module higher than 60%, and the total score higher than 80% in order to get the CCIE certificate. Therefore, candidates of the CCIE certification exam are recommended to learn through taking part in the training.

1. Pre-exam: presentation and strategy. (Candidates should agree with Cisco's exam policy and be 18 years of age or above.)

2. Note: to end the presentation, click "end tourial" instead of "end exam".

3. In the exam you can't go back. For example: 57ing, you can't go back. The end of the exam: 10 questionnaires. For example, several kilometers away from the exam site, the operating system you have been used to can figure out the result.

4. The order of multiple choice questions will change while the order of dragging chart questions will not change.
