Around Kremenchuk reservoir. Second day. Nahirne.

Bicycle tour in Ukraine in 5 days.

Second day.

Nahirne.

Orbita.

After leaving Zamkova Hora (Castle Hill) , we decide that it's time to refresh ourselves and find a cozy and inexpensive café. After that, we head in the direction of Orbita, the route takes us along a concrete road for some time and finally, we reach this iconic place. However, I do not find anything particularly interesting for me here. We plan to drive up to the pipe, but somewhere we miss a turn and already decide not to turn back.

Orbita is a former settlement that was built so that the workers of the future Chyhyryn NPP would live here. Its construction began in 1970, in 1980 all work was canceled, and after the accident at the Chernobyl NPP, the construction of the Chyhyryn NPP was canceled.

Soon we get to the Tiasmyn dam. It is forbidden for cars to drive on it, but we ride it calmly on bicycles.

We are heading further.

Today we plan to reach a village called Nahirne and stop there for the night. Somehow unexpectedly for myself we find ourselves in the Kropyvnytskyi region, somehow I missed this moment. Then the constant uphills and downhills begin, which exhausts us a lot.

However, there are wonderful views.

Picturesque landscapes in Nahirne.

By the time we get to the needed place lot, it's getting pretty dark. But we still manage to see such a beautiful place here. A mountain can be seen on the opposite bank, and I guess that it is Pyvykha, tomorrow we will ride to it.

Evening landscape in Nahirne.

We set up camp, have dinner, but, unfortunately, we cannot reach the water. The shores here are very steep, just like in my native Rzhyshchyv.

It looks like the landscape at home.
