Green apple, lemon, light acacia, light peach. Less Garganega nose, due to the off-dry sweetness (14.5 g/L).
The acidity is a bit lower than Monte del Silenzio, so that can feel more sweetness on palate.

Mineral, bread, a hint of cherry, and slightly bitterness at the end. Stronger body than La Selce. The bubble is more moussy. 80% garganega + 20% Pinot Noir.

Garganega is the 6th most planted white variety in Italy.
Pineapple, light wax, grass, green leaves, lemonade, light almond, light petroleum, and a volatile note.
Light chewy mouthfeel. When the temperature increases, the nose is a bit like Riesling. Medium+ acidity and long length.

Raisin, vanilla, chocolate, licorice, light anise, herbal spices, and light eucalyptus. Medium+ in tannin, body, and intensity. Long length.

Scrimaglio Grignolino d’Asti DOC 2011 Rubeus

Pale ruby color, with light garnet hue, quite a typical color of Grignolino. “Grignolino” comes from the word “grignole”, which means “a lot of seeds”.
Light flower, raspberry, some mineral and humus note. Medium+ acidity and medium- body.

The style is very similar to a entry level new world Pinot Noir, but with more mineral and humus note.

Barbera is the 3rd most planted red variety in Italy.

Over-ripe fruits of black cherry and blue berry, roselle flower, humus, vanilla, chocolate, light oak. Medium in body and acidity, medium+ tannin. Palate is fruity.

Medium garnet color. Old oak, light tar, balsamic vinegar, moss, light chocolate, light petal nose. High tannin and high acidity, medium body, lingering length with spices note at the end.
