How critical is the war in Kashmir for the United States?

Maintaining peace and stability in this region, which is beneficial for the U.S. anti-terrorism policy and Indo-Pacific Strategy.

First, if the war happens and continues between India and Pakistan in Kashmir, this region will turn into chaos and disorder, radicalism and terrorism Organization will be rising and become strong, like Al-Queda and Taliban. Unfortunately, Pakistan and Afghanistan are always the soil of anti-America terrorist networks and military organizations. So, the U.S. must prevent the war and suppress terrorism in this region.

Also, containing the expansion of China is the U.S. premier foreign policy. China installed the war with India in Galway Valley in this region last year. In addition, China always supports Pakistan to confront India and try to make chaos in this region. Pakistan is an ally of China, and it recognizes the territory that was invaded by China in Kashmir belongs to China. Pakistan also joined in the Chinese geopolitical strategy named one belt one road. If the U.S. could not deter the war that Pakistan against India, China will be more aggressive and will take control of this region.

Last, the U.S. should support India and protect its interest because India is a significant role in the Indo-Pacific Strategy. The Indo-Pacific Strategy is the geopolitical strategy against China. President Trump and President Biden's administration both implement this strategy. Meanwhile, India is the key role of Quad that is an international organization of the U.S., Japan, Australia, India. To confront communist China, the U.S. should support India’s interest in the region of Kashmir.
