According to the New York Times reporter Marc Stein, multiple sources revealed that many teams believe that the Hawks will lead the chase between Rajon Rondo and Danilo Gallinari after the free agent market opens.

The free agent market will officially open this weekend.

In the 2019-20 regular season, Danilo averaged 29.6 minutes per game, 18.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists. Rajon averaged 20.5 minutes per game, 7.1 points, 3.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists. In the playoffs, Danilo averaged 30.3 minutes, 15.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.0 assist. Rajon averaged 24.7 minutes, 8.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.6 assists and 1.4 steals.
