Troubles ahead for Donald Trump's re-election

I don't know how the news of "Disrupter-in-chief brings turmoil on European trip" of the Financial Times jumped out of my iPad. But it happened. I could not close it without reading it. The news enrages me now as I did almost two years ago.

US Donald Trump was called “wrecking ball” by Nicholas Burns, a former US ambassador to NATO. Interestingly neither “disrupter-in-chief” nor “wrecking ball” sticks with Donald Trump. It indicates the American culture has not corrupted with Donald Trump.

But the wrecking ball effect does not stop here. It continues to accumulate.

The worst and the most is what he has done with the coronavirus crisis. Quite frankly he has done much worse than his counterpart, Chinese president Xi Jinping. Only hope is he might do better than his brothers, Russian president Vladimir Putin and North Korea dictator Kim Jong-un.

That is so pathetic and it is a real shame to any democratic countries.

But he really deserves to be called “disrupter-in-chief.”

Why?

Donald Trump has disparaged almost all the leaders of US allies. After his disastrous Europe trip in July 2018 he withdrew his signature from G7 summit statement in August. Just a few days ago on the VE day, May 8, Donald Trump at the memorial only recognized efforts of American and the Great Britain, but all others including France, Belgium, Netherlands, among others were ignored.

Trump leads the United States on his lonely way without allies. He made disruptions of world order, which was established after the World War Two seventy-five years ago.

And the United States is in big trouble not only with coronavirus but facing a dire dysfunctional economy. Unemployment is at all time high since the big depression. It stood at 14.7% and can go well over 25% in the near future.

The NBC news just reported unleashed high inflation of food price. That will not be the last blow to the road for his re-election in November, but a prelude of a serious challenges Donald Trump is going to face.
