廢墟攝影 大學時投稿的台灣時報舊總社大樓 Abandoned Taiwan Times building reminded me my old articles,Kaohsiung Taiwan

走過高雄台灣時報舊總社大樓時，想起大學時，投了很多短篇小說稿子到這裡，幸運地被採用了不少。

As I walked by Abandoned Taiwan Times building, it reminded me that I had submited a lot of articles to here in my university years. And many of them was published on Taiwan Times in early 1990's.

那時，住在中部的老爸常辛苦地去買這份在中部不太好買的報紙，蒐集兒子文章剪報，還一直跟我說不知這裡有誰欣賞你的文章。

My father was happy to collect all the newspaper clipping with my articles then. And he kept telling me that’s a mystery that there was a strange editor liked your articles in this newspaper building.

現在想想還是謎，那些短文寫得既不好，又反映大學時孤獨的黑暗，不知哪個編輯善心採用，有很多無形鼓勵在裡面。

For me and my dad,it’s still a mystery now.

It seems to me those short novels lacked of talent and also reflections of my lonely darkness inside of my university years. The unknown editor gave me a lot of encouragement not only in writing but in life.

透過這棟大樓灰塵滿佈的玻璃窗看進去，找不到任何答案。

I couldn’t solve the mystery as I couldn’t see through dusty glass windows of abandoned Taiwan Times building.

多年後我想起那些剪報，以為遺失了，在國家圖書館剪報系統找回一些，跟老爸說這件事，他笑了笑，拿出一包用塑膠文件袋裝著的發黃剪報交給我。

After all these years, I thought I lost all article clippings and I tried to search some of them in National Libary Clipping System.

When I told my dad about that, he smiled and delivered a pack of yellowed clippings.

那天經過棄置的台灣時報舊總社大樓，想起這些事。

As I walked by Abandoned Taiwan Times building, it reminded me something like this.
