從舊金山開始迷上路面電車 I was hooked on the cable car from San Francisco

我最喜歡的路面交通工具，是電車。

My favorie transportation is the tram or cable cars.

路面電車結合鐵路與公車魅力，像從郊外闖進都會的火車，坐在上面時，景觀勝過地鐵或高架捷運，充滿各種與都市與行人並肩的交會。

The tram is a combination of train & bus. It’s just like a countryside train trespassing into the city zone. There’re many interesting views of people & city streets.

舊金山「叮叮車」，讓我迷上這種交通工具，起先只為了搭到漁人碼頭，後來發覺坐在這種叮叮響的車上太有趣了，尤其舊金山坡道多，下坡時會讓人聯想起電影「絕地任務」，而且當年每次下車時，司機都給我一個裂開嘴的大大微笑。

The cable car of San Francisco got me 15 years ago. I took The Powell-Mason Line for Fisherman’s Wharf but in the end it won my heart & I took it a lot just for fun. When I had my 1st cable car ride downhill, it reminded me the chase scene in movie “The Rock” right away.

後來常刻意選有路面電車的日本城市旅遊，日本路面電車大都比舊金山「叮叮車」穩，但最有趣的還是「叮叮車」。

After that, I went to a lot of Japanese cities with trams on purpose. As the tram was concerned, Japanese trams was more comfortable than the cable car of San Francisco. But it’s more fun to take a cable car ride in San Francisco

「不平穩」，常意味著旅遊「趣味」。

The “uncomfortable” always means “more fun” of travel.
