2022年度词汇不是Metaverse也不是Zero-COVID，那是什么？
2022年的年度词汇，既不是红极一时的「元宇宙」，也不是仍然很红的当红明星「清零」，而是.......「摆烂」。
没错，牛津词典刚刚公布今年的年度词汇是“Goblin mode”，也就是「哥布林模式」，或「地精模式」。
牛津词典将其定义为“一种行为，通常是以拒绝社会规范或期望的方式，毫无歉疚地自我放纵，懒惰，懒散或贪婪。”（"a type of behaviour which is unapologetically self-indulgent, lazy, slovenly, or greedy, typically in a way that rejects social norms or expectations."）
这不就是活脱脱的「摆烂」吗？
今年牛津大学出版社的词典编纂者选出了三个词（或短语/主题标签，“词”的定义相当宽松），全世界超过34万名讲英语的人参与了投票。
「哥布林模式」/「地精模式」（goblin mode）获得了压倒性胜利，有318956人投给了它，占总票数的93%。
2009年和2010年，社交媒体上出现了使用goblin mode来指代某种类型的行为的早期使用。

这个词获得网上投票压倒性支持的原因与一个假的推特新闻有关。这则新闻的标题为《朱莉娅·福克斯坦言她和坎爷的‘艰难关系’：他不喜欢我进入‘地精模式’》。讽刺的是，这是个假新闻。
「摆烂模式」能够胜出，跟长期的疫情和低迷的经济还是有关系的。牛津语言（Oxford Languages）的产品总监凯瑟琳·康纳·马丁在一次电话采访中说。“‘摆烂模式’告诉我的是即使新冠大流行结束了，我们仍要和病毒长期抗争。我们是否还能够回到新冠疫情之前那样，对大自然更多一份敬意？”
另外，PC Gamer网站敦促人们“放下我们的小分歧，投票给‘goblin mode’，哪怕只是为了挫败小气的 ‘#IStandWith’和邪恶的‘metaverse’"。
获得第二的是「元宇宙」（metaverse），而#IStandWith获得第三。前者从去年下半年到今年上半年在网络上非常红火，最近人气似乎有所下降；后者则因为今年的俄乌战争而被广泛使用。
